I just had a woman in the ER yesterday who developed a massive eye infection and now has severe visual impairment in her right eye from using a not eye safe glitter.All it takes is one rouge piece to get a scratch that can develop into an infection.
At the very least never,ever rub your eyes if you get something in them-it can make a minor scratch much bigger.Use a sterile eye rinse from the drugstore ASAP,and use eyedrops until you heal.Glitters are made of tiny razor sharp plastic pieces,the odds maybe low,but don't play the odds with your health.
简单翻译一下就是有位女生因为使用了不应该用在眼部的大亮片眼影之后，亮片掉到了右眼里面，划伤了眼睛导致了感染。同时告诉大家当大亮片眼影掉进眼睛里面后千万不要用手去揉眼睛，因为这样眼睛有可能被亮片刮伤造成感染，要使用无菌洗剂洗眼睛并且滴眼药水直至痊愈。眼影闪片是由锋利的小塑料片制成的，（划伤的）几率可能很小，但不要拿你的健康开玩笑
另外要说一下，欧美一些眼影品牌是会标明不适合在眼部使用的，像在国内比较火的Jeffrey star，colorpop，juvia‘s palace等等都有标注。
